Pack it up and ship it south!
26- foot trailer jam-packed with donations heads to Mexico

truckJust last weekend, CWOB Mexican team members Wendy Areola and Juan Jose Martinez,DVM made their way from Juarez, Mexico to the bay area to help us load up a gigantic 26 foot moving truck with donations and drive it back south.

The truck was filled with donated items that we had been collecting, including a beautiful gas anesthesia machine donated by Dr.Conkling of San Mateo, loads of medical supplies collected by local folks, great dog beds, leashes, collars, cages and a load of other items graciously donated by the SF SPCA from their old facility.

Although we all thought the 26 -foot truck was a bit overkill when we first laid eyes on its enormous trailer, we wound up using every inch of space – jam packing it with items to help the animals of Mexico.

It is incredibly rewarding to be able to collect items that would otherwise be discarded here in the US and funnel them down to the animals of Mexico, where they are so desperately needed. Every single item in that 26-foot trailer will go to help an animal in need south of the border and CWOB sends our gratitude to all the individuals and organizations that help us to collect and distribute these wonderful donations.
