Just last Sunday we held an event called “Chihuahuapalooza” wherein 49 Chihuahuas belonging to low-income Latinos were spayed and neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. The event, held in conjunction with our local County shelter and Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County, the first of its kind in our area, was spearheaded by CWOB in an effort to help curb the overpopulation crisis of unwanted Chihuahuas in California shelters.
