SUR AL NORTE HELPS TO SAVE 6 LIVES!!!!!!!
Gracias to Sur al Norte and all the compassionate consumers whose proceeds from purchases raised enough funds to save the lives of 6 Mexican rescue dogs through the Compassion without Borders international rescue program!!!!
Sur al Norte donated the proceeds from the sale of an original sculpture of the San Roche Patron de los Perros made by a famous Oaxacan artist plus 20% of all sales from the past few weeks and raised an incredible $600 for Compassion without Borders – which equates to six lives saved!
Meet the half dozen sweethearts whose lives will be saved thanks to this incredible show of generosity and compassionate consumerism!
All dogs come from backgrounds of cruelty, neglect, and homelessness back in Mexico. They are rescued by local folks south of the border and then vaccinated, quarantined, dewormed and sterilized before being transported up to Northern California where they are adopted out into loving homes.
These 6 Meximutts will all arrive to California on October 8th and are currently awaiting rescue in quarantine south of the border.
