There are those moments that are destined to become life long memories. This last rescue was one of those moments where everywhere you looked, life became more alive and pieces of time broke into fragments of perfection like a prism, reflecting beautiful colors of light dancing across the dust.

Each dog we encountered during our rescue last Sunday, touched us all in some profound way. Take sweet girl Jasmine for example. She gently introduced herself and within her kind nature gave care to each one of us. She sat with Moncho for a while and you could see his heart overflowing with love.

Moncho introduced Jasmine to Christi, who smiled as she held her. They took a long moment and sat in the shade of the lemon tree together, Christi smiling brightly as she examined her. We all commented that Jasmine could become a therapy dog as she had such a calming effect on each of us, and there was just something very special about her.

Jasmine was found as a stray dog, running around the streets of Fresno. The wonderful staff at Animal Rescue of Fresno took her in and cared for her. She joined us for the drive back to Northern California to find her forever home. Dogs like Jasmine remind us to always keep our hearts open, to always find the path toward love & kindness. And to always hold hope & compassion within us - as they light the pathway to true happiness.

We couldn't imagine a life without helping dogs like Jasmine find new homes~ It's all thanks to you, for its only with your support that we are able to continue this work and save these dogs. We are so deeply grateful.
