Plans for Next Two Spay Camps Underway

spay & neuter clinic in mexicoCWOB is committed to spreading the spay/neuter solution throughout Mexico through our spay camp model. We are currently putting together plans for the next two clinics, which will be held back to back in July.

The first clinic will be held in the town of Agua Prieta, a small border town in the state of Sonora where we are working with a dynamite group of volunteers from ‘Rancho Feliz’ – an organization that has worked for years to help the local community through efforts focusing on high-risk youth and the elderly. Rancho Feliz is now beginning to address the animal suffering in their area and we are helping them through sterilization and humane euthanasia programs.

The second clinic will be hosted in the town of Ascencion, a small town in the state of Chihuahua CWOB visited years ago. Our last visit was extremely successful -- hundreds of animals sterilized and  we had several important governmental meetings that resulted in the termination of an extermination program they had implemented that included rounding up dogs and shooting them.

Our goal for each clinic will be to provide free high volume, high quality sterilization services as well as other basic wellness services such as vaccination, deworming, mange treatment, ID tags, collars, leashes, pet food, etc.

Doctor's in Spay campWould you like to support our spay and neuter efforts in Mexico?
Here is how you can help!
*Sponsor a spay and neuter surgery:
It cost an average of $25 for an animal to be sterilized at one of our clinics. Spaying just one dog and   one cat prevents 67,000 puppies and 420,000 kittens from being born over the next 7 years! Sponsor a sterilization surgery today and help to prevent untold suffering.
*Donate your old towels, leashes, collars, or other items to CWOB for distribution at our spay amp.
