Chapulin may appear rugged, but anyone who has met him can attest to the fact that he is actually just a giant, goofy, love bug with a silly side so sweet he can’t help but make you smile.

This darling boy arrived to our clinic in Mexico in rough shape. He was very thin and had a large; melon sized mass hanging off of his chest. Fortunately, the mass was not cancerous, but it did require emergency surgery and he took a few months at our rescue center in Mexico to recover fully.

While in Mexico, he became a staff favorite with his coy charm and irresistible swagger.  He proved himself to be true gentlemen and dignified fellow behind all those scars and that ruggedly handsome face.

Now in California, he is a volunteer and staff favorite, as well.  Truly grateful for every ounce of kindness, love and attention he receives, he has an incredibly gentle and loving presence.

Chapulin is ready for the final chapter in his journey to health and happiness – he is ready for a home.
