Martin

This young, incredibly handsome dog has known a lot of heartache in his short life. We found him just a few short months ago living on the streets with a horrific injury to his front leg {click here to see the images of Martin when first found, be forewarned they show a graphic injury}.

We rescued Martin, got him the care he needed and, unfortunately, had to remove the front leg which was beyond repair. Martin is now doing great on three legs and is a fun-loving, carefree boy who has put his rough past far behind him.

This young, purebred Belgian Mallinois was in dire conditions when rescued, with two broken front legs at animal control in Chihuahua, Mexico. CWOB’s south of the border veterinary surgeon Juan Jose Martinez  got right to work and repaired the fractures, which have both healed beautifully.

Dr. Martinez fostered Klaus himself, and reports that this young boy is a delightful companion – obedient and loving, good with cats, kids, and everyone he meets.
