There are over 20 dogs waiting to be rescued in Juarez, Mexico right now -each one hoping to be part of the lucky group we will be transporting on April  19th to northern California for adoption.

We have over half of the dogs sponsored and ready to make their way north, but we still need donations to be able to save all 20.

Chavelo:Ruggedly handsome with a heart of gold. Chavelo approaches shyly and submissively with his tail wagging softly and then just melts right into you with complete abandon - filling your heart with love and gratitude.

 He has had a hard life up to this point, living on the streets and fending for himself, which didn’t come naturally for this mild mannered, sweet tempered, submissive young fellow. He has a few battle wounds and scars, which will be permanent, but he has managed to survive and remains unbelievably gentle and sweet despite all of his hard luck.

This sweet boy stole CWOB cofounder Dr. Camblor’s heart when she saw him getting picked on by other dogs in the streets of Juarez and her dream is to find him the loving home he has been struggling so hard to find.

Dahlia: Dahlia is a beautiful young Cocker Spanielle that was rescued from being euthanized at an animal control center south of the border. This sweet blonde girl is an absolute love with a gentle nature and a calm, but happy demeanor that makes her an absolute delight to be around.

Antonio: This handsome little streetwise Mexican Maltese mix is absolutely adorable.  Found on the streets in very sad conditions, he has recovered completely over the past few months and is now full of spunk and charisma and ready to make some lucky family very happy.

Hector: This dog’s cuteness speaks for itself. I mean, how cute and fluffy and scruffy can one dog be? Hector was a street dog that got rounded up by animal control and was facing certain euthanasia before being rescued by Compassion without Borders. He is now dreaming of life in California where he can show off his good looks and find a home where he will be properly adored.

Chacha:  Chacha is a rare beauty. Her auburn locks are absolutely striking and so, too, is her unbelievably sweet personality. She wants little more than to give you kisses and crawl in your lap. Rescued off the streets of Mexico in very poor condition, she has now made a full recovery and is an absolutely gorgeous dog.

Lilo:  This energetic young dog is so carefree you would never know how much hardship he has overcome.  Lilo was rescued from being euthanized at animal control after having been rounded up off the streets. When first rescued he was matted and very thin, but he has since cleaned up quite nicely and is now a robust, thriving, joyful young soul with his whole life ahead of him.

Olga: One look at this refined lady and you’d have a hard time imagining that she was once scrounging the streets of Mexico, struggling to survive. But, indeed just a few short months ago she was, but those days are behind her now and she has cleaned up quite nicely into the fancy little lady you see in this picture.

Sweet Olga is a delicate little lady, gentle and loving and absolutely delightful to be around. She will make someone a great companion.

Molly: Molly was found living on the streets of Mexico near a food stand, where she would beg for scraps. She is unbelievably lovable and that sweet little face must have been a great asset to her when begging on the streets, since anyone who takes one look at it immediately melts into those shy, sweet eyes.
