Save a Life This New Year’s Eve

The New Years Eve Meximutt Migration

15 Dogs Make a Holiday Wish

15 dogs are in need of rescue right now in Juarez. Our hope is to head down and save them all, bringing them up to northern California for adoption on New Year’s eve. Scroll down to see the some of the dogs who are waiting.

Each of these dogs has overcome unbeatable odds, tragedy and hardship living a life of homelessness and neglect south of the border. Over the past few months they have been recovering with all the veterinary care and TLC they need to heal and prepare for their chance at happiness and adoption.

Dogs like Concho, featured in this video, require a great deal of veterinary care to recover from tick-borne anemia, pneumonia and starvation. Every dog needs fairly extensive care to ensure their health and prepare them for adoption and it is only with your support that we can save them all.

We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help cover the costs involved in rescuing, rehabilitating and transporting these dogs to safety.

Please either donate toward our general medical rescue fund or select a dog for sponsorship today.

The Meximutts

Concho:

Sweet Concho was found starving and critically ill on the streets of Mexico. He is responding well to veterinary care and TLC and should make a full recovery, but still has a way to go. Please sponsor this sweet boy today and help us give him the happy ending he could never have even dreamed of even just a month ago.

Santino:

Devastatingly handsome, sweet Santino was found living on the streets of Juarez in a neighborhood where he was being physically abused. This charming fellow can now say goodbye to all that heartache and start to learn and trust again. Please help us ensure that Santino has nothing but happiness ahead of him.

Vaquita:

Scruff and charm give this girl all she needs to melt your heart. That face says it all. Rescued off the streets, this dapper wirehair terrier mix is sweet beyond compare. Please help us find her a home for the holidays!

Yuya:

This blonde Meximutt is an all around great little dog. Friendly to all she meets, she is an instant love who wants nothing more than to play and give affection to anyone who lucky enough to receive it. Rescued off the streets, she deserves a home to call her own during this holiday season – won’t you please help her to find just that?

Pancho:

He’s got his sweater ready, passport stamped, bag packed and is ready for the trip. This handsome young poodle mix is ready to share his enthusiasm and love with some lucky family north of the border.

La Abuela:

This little lady was given the name Abuela {grandmother} because she takes care of all the other dogs. This maternal Meximutt has won us over with her adorable physique and warm heart. Please help her find her way up north where she can continue to spread the love.

Danny:

OK Danny. Shouldn’t it be illegal to be that cute? Short. Spry. Wiry. Irresistible. This handsome little scruffer was rescued from animal control in Juarez, where he was slated for euthanasia. Let’s put all that behind him and help him strut his stuff north of the border where he is sure to charm everyone who crosses his path.

Canela:

Pick me, pick me, pick me!!!! Canela is screaming from the rooftops and breaking down the fences - she wants to be picked! With a ruff and ready face like that, who could possibly say no? Rescued from animal control in Juarez where she was slated for euthanasia, this sweet and hairy lady has nothing but high hopes for the future.

Clavito:

This dog is simply sweet. Obedient. Calm. Darn near perfect, actually. He was rescued from animal control where he was slated for euthanasia, but these days he is a happy, lovely boy who promises to make some family a great companion.

Quique:

This sweet boy was rescued from animal control where he was abandoned after being physically abused. That hardship is behind him now and we want to ensure all he knows from this point forward is love and security. Help Quique along his journey to the happy ending he deserves.

Don Felipe:

Now this is our kind of dog. Handsome, refined, scruffy and unique. Help this sweet boy find the home he deserves this holiday season.
