Compassion Without Borders recently received a generous bequest from Roseanne Warner, lifelong animal lover and true friend to dogs.
Roseanne loved dogs her whole life. Long-time friend Deirdre Kidder, who managed the bequest, says, “Roseanne loved dogs. They were her friends, companions and her soul mates. She lived a simple life. She loved dog rescue and the stories of dogs whose lives had been saved and who saved the lives of people by giving them unconditional love.”
Dr. Christi Camblor, CWOB Executive Director, says, “We are so grateful to have been chosen as a beneficiary of Roseanne’s bequest. We plan to utilize the funds as seed money as we approach an upcoming capital campaign to build our dream clinic for our rescue animals and for the cats and dogs who are members of local low-income families”.
Camblor adds, “Bequests have been so important to our organization. A bequest helped with our clinic in Mexico, made Muttopia possible, and now will help make our dream of a clinic come true”.
