Healing Sasha

Sasha arrived into our care as a medical transfer from the Central Valley. She was originally thought to have been severely burned, but after close examination by our medical team it was determined that she had, sadly, been drug behind a vehicle.

Sasha sustained severe injuries to all four paws and along her side. She was also emotionally quite traumatized. She underwent weeks of daily wound care, and then another month of TLC and nurturing from an incredible foster, before completely healing both physically and emotionally.

And, just recently, she was adopted by an amazing couple who absolutely adore her and who will give her a dream life where she will know nothing but love and safety. We are so thrilled for this beautiful soul and grateful for the privilege of being able to help make things right for her again. Compassion IS the Answer.
